Thrasher's Call

From John 1:1-14, and thinking of the wayward souls who, like Mary Oliver, have been "spiritual but not religious", and soul-sunk into abyssal dark.

In the beginning, the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word spoke into our darkness, but our darkness understood not. And so we erred, and thought that any skillful words could be divine.
